The Shredz Fitness Centre website is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use by you of these sites constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Gym Membership

We hold no contracts to our memberships, if you wish to cancel your direct debit please contact Ashbourne management directly. For rolling monthly memberships if you pay by card this will automatically expire on a month by month basis, so you won’t need to cancel this.  All members must adhere to our gym etiquette rules which can be found online or on the gym floor. These rules are put in place to make sure the gym is a safe environment at all times. Anyone breaching these rules will have their membership reconsidered.

Every member will be registered with a fingerprint, and you must sign in at reception using your fingerprint every visit. This is for health and safety reasons so we can monitor who is in the gym at all times.

The management of Shredz Fitness Centre reserve the right to cancel any membership in breech of rules or conduct which in the view of the management of Shredz Fitness Centre is offensive to customers and / or staff or represents a health and safety danger.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted access to the gym, unless a parent has signed a form for permission, taking responsibility for the child and stating the child has agreed to follow the gym rules.

Memberships can not be refunded if a member chooses not to visit the gym. Refunds may be considered if a valid medical certificate can be provided.

Customers must provide 30 days notice to cancel their membership.

Gym Etiquette

All members must adhere to our code of conduct:

• Be respectful and courteous to other members and staff
• No violence or aggressive behaviour
• Please keep equipment clean (cleaning products and blue roll will be available at all times)
• Non-members are not permitted in the gym area
• Please put all weights away in their place once finished with
• Report any damages or breakages to a member of staff
• No smoking on the premises
• No eating in the gym area
• No moving of equipment except benches, but these must be put back after use
• No drug abuse or steroids on the premises
• Gym wear required, no jeans and appropriate footwear
• Members must not loiter around equipment and restrict access to others
• Changing rooms, toilets and showers must be kept clean and tidy and any misuse must be reported to a member of staff

Health and Safety

Smoking is not permitted on the Shredz Fitness Centre site.
All customers must inform staff of any medical condition which may affect their use of the facilities.
Whilst using the facilities all members are responsible for their own health.

Shredz Fitness Centre liability for loss or damage to property or person is limited to any damage or loss suffered as a direct result of negligence of Shredz Fitness Centre.

No pets are allowed into the facilities with the exception of Guide Dogs.

Lockers

Lockers should be used for the storage of personal items at all times. Shredz Fitness Centre is not liable for the loss or theft of any personal belongings. For security reasons and for the benefit of all members, all lockers must be emptied at the end of each session. All lockers will be checked and emptied at the end of each day. Any items found will be disposed of immediately.
